Dependency distance: A new perspective on syntactic patterns in natural languages

Dependency distance, measured by the linear distance between two syntactically related words in a sentence, is generally held as an important index of memory burden and an indicator of syntactic difficulty. Since this constraint of memory is common for all human beings, there may well be a universal preference for dependency distance minimization (DDM) for the sake of reducing memory burden. This human-driven language universal is supported by big data analyses of various corpora that consistently report shorter overall dependency distance in natural languages than in artificial random languages and long-tailed distributions featuring a majority of short dependencies and a minority of long ones. Human languages, as complex systems, seem to have evolved to come up with diverse syntactic patterns under the universal pressure for dependency distance minimization. However, there always exist a small number of long-distance dependencies in natural languages, which may reflect some other biological or functional constraints. Language system may adapt itself to these sporadic long-distance dependencies. It is these universal constraints that have shaped such a rich diversity of syntactic patterns in human languages.     

Study on the Relation of Definite Integral and Indefinite Integral

Relation of definite integral and indefinite integral was discussed and an important result was gotten. If f(x) is bounded and has primary function, the formal definite integral x s f(t)dt is the indefinite integral of f(x), where x is a self-variable, s is a parameter,~f(x) is a function defined in(-∞, +∞), which comes from f(x) by restriction and extension. In other words, the indefinite integral is a special form of definite integral, its lower integral limit and upper integral limit are all indefinite.     

掺氮高荧光碳点的一步法制备及对痕量Hg(Ⅱ)离子的选择性检测

采用一步水热法制备了一种水溶性的、具有良好荧光性能的掺氮碳量子点(N-碳点),其尺寸大小均匀,约为7 nm。N-碳点的荧光强度随N的掺杂量、水热反应温度、溶液的pH值而改变。在最佳反应条件下所制备的N-碳点的荧光量子产率高达24.4%。该N-碳点作为一种简单、低成本的荧光探针用于检测痕量Hg²⁺,具有高选择性和高灵敏度的特点,其最低检测极限可达到0.02 μmol·L^-1 (4.012 ng)。

Nonlinear stability of traveling wave solutions for the compressible fluid models of Korteweg type

This paper is concerned with the existence and time-asymptotic nonlinear stability of traveling wave solutions to the Cauchy problem of the one-dimensional compressible fluid models of Korteweg type, which governs the motions of the compressible fluids with internal capillarity. The existence of traveling wave solutions is obtained by the phase plane analysis, then the traveling wave solution is shown to be asymptotically stable by the elementary L²$L^2$-energy method.     

发光液晶材料的合成及发光特性研究

具有聚集诱导发光增强效应的发光液晶材料,能有效地解决一般发光材料聚集时荧光猝灭和液晶自组装之间的矛盾,在液晶显示等领域有极大的应用价值。本文报道了一种自发光液晶材料(2Z,2'Z)-2,2'-(1,4-亚苯基)二(3-(4-己氧基)苯基)丙烯腈(PHPA)。研究了PHPA的聚集态发光性质、溶剂化效应、热力学性质及发光各向异性。结果表明,PHPA同时具有聚集态诱导发光增强效应和液晶性,其有序取向的薄膜发出的光具有各向异性。该发光液晶材料应用于液晶显示将能简化器件结构、增加亮度、对比度和能效。
